Embodied yoga is a practice that goes beyond simply performing yoga postures. It's about cultivating a deep awareness of your body and its sensations, and moving from a place of inner listening and intuition.  

Key Principles:

Internal Awareness: Embodied yoga emphasizes feeling the poses from the inside out, rather than focusing solely on the external form. It's about tuning into your body's unique experience in each moment.
 
Mind-Body Connection: It recognizes the interconnectedness of your mind, body, and emotions. Movement is used as a tool to explore and integrate these aspects of yourself.

Intuitive Movement: Embodied yoga encourages you to move in a way that feels good for your body, honoring your individual needs and limitations. It's about listening to your body's wisdom and responding accordingly.  

Self-Compassion: It fosters self-compassion and acceptance, recognizing that every body is different and that there is no "right" way to do a pose.

Presence: Embodied yoga encourages you to be present in your body, noticing sensations, emotions, and thoughts without judgment.
