    This is a 60 minute Trauma Sensitive Yoga session that is focused on exploring mindful self compassion. guided by Kierstin von Frangenberg RYT500hr ,certified yoga therapist, and who completed a 300hr teacher training on trauma informed yoga.
Trauma-sensitive yoga is a specialized form of yoga designed for individuals who have experienced trauma. It differs from traditional yoga classes by prioritizing safety, choice, and self-regulation.
Here are some key characteristics:
Focus on Safety and Choice:
Participants are always given the option to opt-out of any pose or activity.   
The emphasis is on internal experience rather than external achievements.   
A safe and non-judgmental environment is crucial.   
Gentle Movements:
Focuses on gentle, accessible poses that are modified to accommodate individual needs and limitations.   
Emphasis on mindful movement and connecting with the breath.   
Trauma-Informed Approach:
Recognizes that trauma can manifest physically and emotionally.   
Avoids triggering language or imagery.   
Prioritizes self-compassion and self-acceptance.
