A Mantra and Touch Meditation

A Mantra and Touch Meditation

This 30-minute guided meditation combines the power of mantra chanting with gentle, self-compassionate touch to cultivate inner peace and self-soothing.

Trauma-Informed Approach: This practice prioritizes safety and choice. You are encouraged to adjust or skip any part that feels uncomfortable. There is no pressure to perform or achieve anything.
Gentle Touch: The meditation incorporates gentle, self-compassionate touch, such as placing a hand on the heart, gently stroking the arms, or lightly massaging the temples. This can be deeply soothing and help to regulate the nervous system.
Mantra Chanting: We will gently chant a simple, calming mantra such as "So Hum" (I am That) or "Om Shanti" (Peace). Chanting can help to quiet the mind, reduce anxiety, and cultivate a sense of inner peace.
Benefits:

Reduced Stress and Anxiety: The combination of mantra chanting and gentle touch can help to calm the nervous system and reduce stress responses.
Increased Self-Compassion: This practice encourages self-compassion and self-acceptance by offering a gentle and non-judgmental approach to self-care.
Improved Emotional Regulation: Helps to regulate emotions and cultivate a sense of inner peace and calm.
Enhanced Body Awareness: Increases body awareness and fosters a deeper connection with the self.
